This program offers 3 different tracks-Robotics, Engineering and Architecture. It provides a critical link between the design engineering process and manufacturing by fostering an understanding of design principles, material properties, and manufacturing processes. Students gain hands on training with a 3D printer and CADD technology.

Techno Robotic/Science Technology Engineering and Math Academy (Techno Robotic STEM) pre-academy will focus on engineering and robotic design. Students will participate in advanced classes with a required class in the arts. This pre-academy feeds into Techno-robotics at Winter Haven High School and Lake Region High School's Engineering Academy.

CFAA is a nationally accredited model academy. Aerospace Technology - This program track is designed to introduce students to the aerospace environment with a focus on flight, navigation, aircraft systems, and the design of aircraft and spacecraft. Avionics - This program track is designed to introduce students to avionics systems to include troubleshooting, repairing, and installing airborne radio communications, navigation, and radar equipment systems. Airframe & Powerplant - This program track is designed to introduce students to maintenance and repair to aircraft structures, flight control surfaces, and aircraft instruments. Engineering - This program track is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of engineering with an emphasis on applied aerospace engineering.

The Pre-Engineering Academy at Sleepy Hill Middle School, is the perfect program for students who want to explore the world of engineering and technology. Students are provided with opportunities to earn high school credits in the following areas: Algebra I, Geometry, Honors Earth Science, Engineering 1, History The pre-engineering academy offers 8th grade students the opportunity to earn an industry certification in 3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD). Students learn how to use, a leading industrial software, to earn their CSWA Certification (Certified SolidWorks Associate) as issued by Dassault Systems SolidWorks Corporation.

This academy is only for 7th and 8th graders. There are 2 tracks offered Engineering and Robotics within this academy. Engineering students will learn the history, and use of technology, along with exposure to different technology used in production techniques. The students learn how energy is changed from one for to another and used to make useable power for the humans. Robotics students learn to build and program robots using Lego EV3. Students learn more complicated programing using VEX Iq robots and Robot C programming. They will also learn how to use a 3d drafting software with the intention is to obtain certification in drafting software. The student will learn the history, and use of technology, along with exposure to different technology used in production techniques.
