The SHARK Pre-Academy is the culmination of ten exciting tracks; Agricultural Science, Fashion/Interior Design, Pre-Biotechnology, Criminal Justice, Culinary Arts, Business, Media Design, Power, Fine Arts, STEAM. These tracks provide middle school students with real-world exposure to career specific curriculum through electives.

This innovative academy will provide hands on training in Welding, Electricity, Masonry, HVAC & Engineering. Students are capable of earning NCCER & MSSC certifications. All programs feature OSHA approved safety courses and students are capable of earing their 10 hour OSHA card as well as articulated college credits.

Students in the Lakeland Electric Energy Academy will be exposed to the electric utility industry structure, processes and terminology. In addition, they will gain a solid understanding of industrial electricity. Students graduating from the Lakeland Electric Energy Academy will have key insights into the many entry-level positions throughout the utility.
