Direct Study 1st Semester Final

Students' final consisted of a combination of a written paper and a PowerPoint presentation.

The written paper explored the career field students wanted to pursue after graduation and included the following:

• What career field the student wanted to pursue after graduation
• Why the student chose this career field to shadow/investigate
• Which Florida colleges offer training needed for this field
• Why the student would be good (or bad) at this career field
• What the student learned about this career by being at a clinical site
• What the advantages and disadvantages of the career are
• What the outlook is for this field in terms of job security and remuneration
• The student's best and worst experiences at the clinical site
• What students learned about themselves from this experience

The 4-5 minute PowerPoint summary of the written paper included information and pictures of what the student had been doing at their clinical site.
