WE3 is open to anyone who is interested in the quality and state of readiness of the future workforce of Polk County.



Parents and Students

Parents and students who would like to learn more about workforce education programs at the schools in their area.  General program areas include Agriscience, Business, Familly & Consumer Science, Industrial, Medical, Technology and more.



Local Business and Industry Partners

Local businesses are encouraged to visit the expo to learn how Polk's schools are preparing students to enter our competitive workforce.  This is an opportunity for businesses to meet students and teachers, find out about the exciting programs being offering and find out what businesses can do to increase student achievement.

How You Can Help

  • Invite others that have an interest in the future workforce of Polk County.
  • Invite small business leaders. Examples: Veterinarians, Plumbers, Electricians, Mechanics, Anyone that will need a highly trained employee
  • Become a sponsor. Sponsoring companies will be recognized during the event, on the web and on event literature.

    Local  business and industry professionals have partnered with Polk State College and the public schools of Polk County to create the WE3 Expo.  This collaborative effort will allow middle schools and high schools to highlight career academies and workforce program offerings throughout the county. 

    Students will be on hand to demonstrate and discuss their preparation for careers in the new millennium. WE3 will feature more than 40 exhibitors. These students are the next generation of Polk County workers and you will have the opportunity to interact with them. Anticipation of this event is growing and we expect that it will benefit the community greatly.
